Pakistan Security Delegation To Visit Ahmedabad ICC Match Venue

Ahead of the ICC ODI World Cup, the Pakistani Cricket Board announced to send a security delegation ahead of the India V/S Pakistan match in Ahmedabad, on October 15. The visit announcement came hours after the announcement of ICC World Cup schedule. "The PCB requires the Government of Pakistan’s clearance for any tour to India, including the match venues," said PCB. The ICC World Cup starts on October 15.

Asia Cup 2023 Dates, Schedule Announced

The Asia Cup 2023 is set to begin from August 31 to September 17, confirmed the Asian Cricket Council on June 15.  The tournament will feature India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Nepal with the teams competing in a total of 13 ODI matches. The tournament will be held in a hybrid model, of which four matches will be hosted by Pakistan, whereas remaining by Sri Lanka.

Asian Cricket Council Set to Approve 'Hybrid Model' for Asia Cup

The BCCI proposed a Hybrid model for the Asian Cup, in September. Under the plan, four non-Indian matches will be played in Pakistan, while the remaining matches will be hosted in Galle and Pallekele in Sri Lanka. The ACC is likely to make an official announcement soon. Once the hybrid model is officially sanctioned, it will open the way for the Pakistan team to travel to India for ODI world cup.

ICC Officials Visit Pakistan To Talk About 2023 ICC World Cup

The International Cricket Council (ICC) chairman Greg Barclay and CEO Geoff Allardice have come to Lahore to convince Pakistan not to push for a hybrid model in the upcoming 2023 World Cup. According to news agency PTI, the ICC has particularly come to Pakistan to have assurances from the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) regarding their World Cup participation in India in October-November.

After Recovery Pant Was Seen At Mumbai Airport

Indian keeper-batter Rishabh Pant was spotted at the Mumbai Airport with a few fans by his side and some of the people escorting him. The left-handed batter had a knee brace on his right knee, but was walking fairly comfortably without crutches.
