A 21-year-old Indian-origin student was shot dead in Philadelphia, confirmed a local source. The Mumbai Police has received a threat to once again terrorise Maharashtra's capital Mumbai. Till now, where these threats were being received by the police through phone calls and e-mails, now a person has threatened to terrorize Mumbai through Twitter. The police said that they received the mail around 11:00 am, which read, "I am going to blast Mumbai very soon." Taking this message seriously, the Mumbai Police started investigation.

In a tragic incident near Sindkhedaraja in the Buldhana district of Maharashtra, a collision between a state transport corporation bus and a speeding container truck killed six people. Of all, six people including the drivers of both vehicles died and a dozen individuals have been injured, some critically, confirmed Maharashtra.
