PM Modi Remembers India's 1st HM Sardar Patel On Death Anniversary
On the occasion of the 71st death anniversary of India's first Home Minister, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to him on December 15. Patel is known for merging a large number of princely states with the Union of India after independence, reported PTI. ''Remembering Sardar Patel on his Punya Tithi. India will always be grateful to him for his monumental service,'' tweeted PM Modi.

Floral Tribute Paid To Sardar Vallbhai Patel By Puducherry CM
The birth anniversary of the iron man of India, Sardar Vallabhai Patel is celebrated on October 31. Meanwhile, floral tribute was paid to Patel by Puducherry CM N Rangasamy, Speaker R Selvam, legislators, and others at the Gandhi Square on Goubert Avenue. Further, in order to celebrate 'National Unity Day', CM also flagged off a unity run. Besides, He inspected a guard of honor, present by the Puducherry police.
