WhatsApp Files Complaint Against Centre Over New IT Rules
Facebook-owned WhatsApp has sued the central government over the new IT rules, which the former claims to be unconstitutional and breach of privacy. SC To Stop Sharing Video Conferencing Links On WhatsApp From Mar 1
The Supreme Court, through a February 27 circular, has banned the use of WhatsApp to share video conference links. Owing to the new Information Technology Rules, 2021, registered email ids and mobile numbers of advocates and parties will be used to share video links for court proceedings form March 1.
