Karnataka's Member of the Legislative Council of Congress CM Ibrahim resigned from the party and is likely to join Janata Dal (Secular) next week. Ibrahim has sent his resignation letter to Congress chief Sonia Gandhi. Furthermore, Ibrahim was disappointed for not making him the leader of the Opposition in the legislative council. "A junior, BK Hariprasad, was made the leader when the majority of the MLCs supported me," said Ibrahim.
