Belgium Museum Returns Painting To Jewish Family After 71 Years

After 71 years, Belgium museum has returned a painting to the great-grandchildren of a Jewish couple. The 30 paintings including this were stolen by Nazis. The German artist Lovis Corinth, made the pink flowers in a vase painting that belonged to Gustav and Emma Mayer. "Altogether the family is looking for 30 artworks," lawyer Imke Gielen said. In 2008, museum authorities appealed to the people for information on the painting.
