Jose K Mani Takes Oath As Rajya Sabha Member: Kerala
Jose K Mani of the Kerala Congress was elected to the Upper House in a bypoll. Furthermore, he took the oath in English as a member of the Rajya Sabha on December 1. He signed the member's register, and further greeted Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu and other leaders present there. However, Jose K Mani's tenure in the Upper House will end in 2024.

Kerala Congress (M) Leader Jose K Mani Resigns From Rajya Sabha
Kerala Congress (M) leader Jose K Mani announced his resignation as a Rajya Sabha MP on January 9. Mani, who gained the Upper House membership through the United Democratic Front (UDF) support, stated that he resigned “for upholding morality in political life.” Jose K Mani-led Kerala Congress (M) had joined CPI (M) headed LDF due to the emergence of internal disagreements with senior Kerala Congress leader P J Joseph.
