CM Ashok Gehlot Points Finger At BJP, RSS For Jodhpur, Ramgarh & Karauli Incidents
Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot accused the BJP and RSS for inciting violence in various parts of the state, on May 5. He said that the BJP and RSS were planning to incite riots in Karauli, Jodhpur and Ramgarh. "We took timely action," and prevented any untoward incident, said Gehlot. He further stated that the culprits involved in the Karauli, Jodhpur and Ramgarh incidents will not be spared.

Rajasthan: Priest Burnt To Death Over Land Dispute; Key Accused Arrested
A 60-year-old priest, Babu Lal Vaishnav, died in Jaipur on October 8 after he was immolated by few people on October 6. Reportedly, the gruesome incident happened in Rajasthan's Karauli district over a land dispute. According to police, five people have committed this crime and the key accused, Kailash Meena, has been arrested. The police further stated that all the accused have been booked under the charges of murder.
