J&K: Valley Muslims Join Kashmiri Pandits In Navreh Pooja At Srinagar
Setting an example of India’s unity in diversity culture, Muslims in the J&K's Srinagar participated in religious rituals performed by the Kashmiri Pandits. The pooja was performed at Srinagar's Sheetal Nath Temple in Kral Khud to mark the beginning of Navratri, locally known as 'Navreh'. J&K Police Deny Mehbooba Mufti's Claim Of Being Under House Arrest
After accusations from former Jammu and Kashmir CM Mehbooba Mufti for being "illegally" detained, the police have responded that the act was for security reasons. Mehbooba has tweeted on November 27 that she and her daughter were house arrested. She also blamed the J&K administration for refusing her permission to visit Pulwama to meet the family of Waheed Rehman Para. However, the police have denied the accusations of house arrest.
