Govt Raised Subsidy Amount For Pradhan Mantri Ujjwal To ₹300
The government has raised subsidy amount for Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries from ₹200 to ₹300 per LPG cylinder, Union minister Anurag Thakur confirmed during a briefing on Cabinet decisions on Wednesday. Ujjwala beneficiaries currently pay ₹703 per 14.2-kg cylinder as against the market price of ₹903. After the decision of the Union Cabinet, they will now pay ₹603, aiming expansion of the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY)

Will End Loot And Provide Gas Cylinder Under Rs 500: Congress
After a hike in the LPG Gas Cylinders, the opposition, Indian National Congress (INC) lashed out at the ruling BJP Government. Furthermore, the Party also promised to provide domestic cylinder under Rs 500. On March 1, the oil marketing companies (OMCs) raised the domestic cylinders of 14.2 kgs by Rs 50. Congress President also asked "How to make Holi dishes now, for how long will these orders of loot continue?"
