Maharashtra Govt Sanctions Rs 43 Cr To Renovate 1000-year-old Temple
The Maharashtra government has allocated Rs 43 crore fund to renovate the 1,000-year-old Shiva temple in Ambernath. The beautification process to be carried out in two phases will develop a garden, guest house and an amphitheatre. The facelift also involves building of two suspension bridges connecting the temple along with retaining walls for the temple located in slums.
