UP: Mayawati's BSP Ready To Support BJP To Defeat Akhilesh Yadav's SP
In a move to see Samajwadi Party (SP) fail in the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on October 29 said that her party will vote for any party including BJP. She also expressed her regret for joining hands with Akhilesh Yadav's Samajwadi Party before the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. Further, she opined that her party made a mistake by taking back the 2nd June 1995 case.

Mayawati Suspends Seven BSP Members Suspecting Their Involvement with SP
Suspecting a backstab from her party members, Mayawati, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief on October 29 suspended seven members of BSP. Reportedly, the seven members had opposed the nomination of the party candidate Ramji Gautam for Rajya Sabha elections and had allegedly met the Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav. The suspended members include Aslam Raini, Hargovind Bhargava, and Sushma Patel.

UP: Mayawati Demands President's Rule In State After Another Rape Incident
Uttar Pradesh former CM Mayawati demanded President's rule in the state as another girl was raped and killed in Balrampur district. She called Balrampur incident as a "replay" of Hathras case, and stated that "anti-social elements have taken over the state". Mayawati also said that it would be better for Yogi Adityanath to return to 'Gorakhnath Math' if he could not maintain law and order in the state.

Congress Govt Drama in Rajasthan May Erupt in Future Too: BSP Chief Mayawati
Bahujan Samaj Party chief, Mayawati has raised doubts over the settling of the Rajasthan political crises, saying there are chances of future conflicts between former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot and CM Ashok Gehlot. "BSP wants to say that the long due internal conflict between these two has affected works of public welfare in the state," she said, adding the Government should focus on its people during a pandemic.
