MLA Murder Case

Rupam Pathak, who is currently serving a life sentence at Bihar's Bhagalpur jail, has been granted a parole for 15 days, by a Supreme Court bench led by CJI NV Ramana, on February 2. Pathak was convicted of murder for stabbing BJP MLA Kishore Kesri in 2011. Reportedly, Rupam Pathak seeked parole to attend her daughter's wedding.
