D Ramesh, a 28-year-old intoxicated man allegedly slits his 2-year-old son's throat in a fit of rage and stabbed his wife, Shobha, on July 12 in Moinabad, Telangana. Reportedly, during Shobha's birthday party, Ramesh thought she and her mother criticized him for not working hard in their native Lambada language. On hearing them speak, he attacked Shobha. However, Ramesh has been arrested and his wife is undergoing treatment.
