Earthquake Of 7.4 Magnitudes Hit Turkey, 15 Dead
An earthquake of 7.4 magnitudes hit the regions of Turkey, on February 6. The natural disaster killed five people in the province of Osmaniye and 10 more in Sanliurfa, confirmed local sources. In addition, approximately 34 buildings were collapsed and properties were damaged due to the earthquake in Turkey, which struck at 04:17 am local time (0117 GMT) at a depth of about 17.9 kilometres (11 miles).

PM Modi Announces Compensation For Victims Of Dhanbad Fire Accident
PM Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh, for those who died in a fire accident and Rs 50,000 for injured people in the Dhanbad fire accident. On the evening of January 31, a massive fire broke out in a multi-storeyed building in Dhanbad district, Jharkhand, killing 14 people, including three children. Approximately 15 fire tenders were rushed to spot to ablaze fire and an investigation was launched.

Suicide Blast At Mosque Kills 17 People, Leaves 95 Injured In Pakistan
In Pakistan's Peshawar, a powerful suicide blast was reported at a mosque during afternoon prayers on January 30. Tragic Accident In Kerala's Palakkad Region Kills 9, Leaves 38 Injured
Nine people, including students, were killed and at least 38 were injured after a tourist bus hit Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus in Kerala's Palakkad region. On October 6, Kerala Minister MB Rajesh confirmed the incident, saying the tourist bus was on its way to Ooty, whereas the KSRTC bus was heading to Coimbatore. Moreover, the police rushed to the spot and admitted the injured to hospital.

Jammu & Kashmir Police Personnel Killed In Encounter In Pulwama
A Jammu and Kashmir Police personnel was killed and a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was injured in a terrorist attack. On October, a joint party of CRPF and police in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir confirmed police. The terrorists attacked the joint Naka party of CRPF and police in the Pinglana area of the south Kashmir district and cordoned off the area.

Encounter Breaks Out In J&K; JeM Terrorist Killed, Civilians Injured
In Jammu & Kashmir's Kulgam district, a Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces. On September 26,the police confirmed killing of JeM terrorist, two civilians and a soldier were also injured in the encounter. Security forces launched a cordon operation in Batpora following information about the presence of terrorists there, which led to an open-fire gunfight, resulting in an encounter.

Begusarai: Assailants Open Fires At Different Locations, 1 Killed
In Bihar's Begusarai, two bike-borne assailants opened fire, leading to the death of one person and leaving as many as nine people injured, on September 13. Occurred during night hours, the incident was said to have happened in different locations and the details are yet to be known. Fire In Hotel Kills 6, Leaves Many Injured: Secunderabad
A massive fire broke out in an electric scooter charging unit showroom, located on the first floor of a hotel building in Secunderabad, Telangana. Occurred on the late night of September 12, the fire spread to the other floors, killing six people and leaving many injured. Fire tenders rushed to the spot and a rescue operation is underway, said Hyderabad Commissioner CV Anand. Moreover, Telangana HM Mahmood Ali ordered probe.

Speeding Car Ran Over 3 People In Ghazipur, Case Registered
In Ghazipur region of UP, three people identified as Achhelal Yadav (45), Vinod Singh Yadav(40) and Diwakar Singh Yadav (37) died after being run over by a speeding car, confirmed police on September 8. The victims were out on a morning walk when a speeding car hit them near Rasoolpur Belva village. They were rushed to a nearby hospitals and declared dead. Furthermore, police registered a case and launched investigation.
