Narayan debnath

Iconic Cartoonist, Narayan Debnath, died at a private hospital in Kolkata on January 18. Debnath (97) had been suffering from various age-related problems for several years. He created many famous characters such as Handa Bhonda, Bantul the Great, and Nonte Phonte for comic strips. West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee took to Twitter and said, "An immeasurable loss to the world of literary creativity and comics".
