Gujarat: Nine Flood-affected People Rescued by NDRF Personnel in Vadodara
National Disaster Response Force personnel on August 31 rescued atleast 9 people from a flooded ashram on the banks of the river Narmada in Vadodara. Telangana: 9 Die in Massive Fire Mishap at Srisailam Power Plant
On August 20, a massive fire outbreak in Telangana's Srisailam Hydroelectric Power Plant claimed the lives of nine people, out of which, seven were employees of Telangana state power generation corporation. The rescue team faced obstruction as the smoke chocked the escape tunnel. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has ordered the Crime Investigation Department (CID) to submit reports after investigating the cause of the accident.
