60% Of Nestle's Food Products Not Healthy And Co. Accepts It: Report

The world’s largest food company Nestle, which also owns Maggie, has accepted that 60% of its food products are not healthy. The company reportedly said, "Some of our products will never be healthy, no matter how much we renovate." However, the company, with brands like KitKat and Nescafe, has stated it was working on increasing its nutritional value. In 2020, Nestle had net sales of Rs 13,290.16 crore in India.

Vegan KitKat To Be Rolled Out In 2021, Announces Nestle

Introducing a new product, Nestle has announced to produce a plant-based vegan variety of its iconic 'KitKat'. Named 'KitKat V', the product is expected to hit the markets across the world later in 2021. Moreover, Nestle has assured of the "perfect balance between crispy wafer and smooth chocolate that people know and love." The chocolate is currently being developed at Nestle's York centre in the UK.

Coca-Cola Ranked World's Worst Plastic Polluter For Third Time

Coca-Cola has been ranked worst plastic polluter in the world for the third consecutive year by Break Free From Plastic. Nestle and PepsiCo followed Coca-Cola in the list. The three companies have been inculpated of “zero progress” in reducing plastic waste.
