Aiming for road safety in Delhi and avoiding accidents, the Dialogue and Development Commission (DDC) of Delhi launched a month-long ‘Tactical Urbanism Trial’. The new project was launched on October 15, at the Signature Bridge, connecting Wazirabad across the Yamuna to East Delhi. Odisha Govt To launch Climate Resilient Natural Farming In Tribal Areas

Delhi Govt To Provide Yoga Classes For Isolated COVID-19 Patients
Special yoga and pranayama classes will be provided by government for home isolated COVID-19 patients, said Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, on January 11. Mumbai Doctor Couple Starts ‘Meds For More’, COVID Medicines For Underprivileged
Raina Ranney and Marcus Ranney, two Mumbai-based doctors and frontline workers have created a "COVID-relief platform" through their initiative "Meds For More" where everyone and anyone can pitch in and help. Their idea is that the leftover Covid medicines can be stockpiled and donated to the needful. "Especially after the first wave of the pandemic, people realized the need to step up and help each other," Dr. Raina said.

BMC Corporator To Offer 1 Kg Paneer Or Chicken To Blood Donors
To raise awareness of blood donation and motivate donors, a corporator from Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has decided to offer 1 Kg of chicken or paneer to the donors. The corporator Samadhan Sarvankar has collaborated with KEM hospital for a blood donation camp on December 13, where he expects at least 1000 donors. About the unique initiative, Samadhan said he decided to give chicken and paneer since they are immunity boosters.

Bangalore Man Resolves To Set Trees Free From Nails, Pins
In a much-acclaimed initiative, a Bangalore-based research scientist Vinod Kartavya, with his five friends, have resolved to make the trees nails, staple pins and posters free. Interestingly, Vinod removes the pins and poster from the trees on every Sunday. He has decided to follow it after one such nail pricked him. Moreover, he runs a social media challenge, 'Nail Free Tree' asking people to post their photos after removing nails.
