Tata Motors Celebrates 10k EV Customers; Captures 70% EVs Market
Tata Motors with Nexon EV and Tigor EV has sold about 10,000 EVs in India. This marked the company's stronghold over the Indian e-vehicle passenger segment, capturing about 70% of the share. Customers bought Nexon EV launched in 2020, costing Rs.14 lakh, and Tigor EV launched in August 2021 for individual customers costing Rs. 12 lakh. Tata Motors expects to dominate the sector of battery-powered vehicles in the upcoming decades.
