UP Govt Lifts COVID-19 Restrictions Amid Declining Cases
In Uttar Pradesh, as the COVID-19 cases are declining, the state government, on March 17, announced to lift all the curbs, imposed across the state. CM Yogi Adityanath took the decision in the view of the declining Coronavirus case, with under 31,000. Acting upon the decision, UP Chief Secretary Awanish Awasthi issued orders, which came a month after UP lifted night curfew and reopened educational institutions, on February 19.

Punjab Govt Imposes Night Curfew, Offline Classes Shut
Punjab government under the leadership of CM Charanjit Singh Channi, on January 4, imposed a night curfew in the state till January 15. It'll start at 10 pm and will end at 5 am. The new order also restricts the opening of educational institutions, including schools, colleges, and universities, except medical and nursing colleges. Besides, Bars, cinemas halls, multiplexes, museums, zoos, and restaurants can be run at 50% capacity.
