China's Oldest Person Dies At 135 Years Of Age

Alimihan Seyiti, China's oldest person, died at the age of 135, in Xinjiang Uygur region. According to the country's publicity department, Seyiti was born on June 25, 1886. Reportedly, she lived a healthy life looking after her great-grandchildren and getting her daily dose of sunlight in her yard. As per sources, the local government  provides doctor services, annual check-ups, advanced age subsidies and more for people above 60.

World's 'Oldest Person' Francisca Susano Dies At 124 In Philippines

Philippines' Francisca Susano, the world's "oldest person", passed away at 124, on November 22. Reportedly, Susano aka Lola Iska died peacefully at home in the country's Negros Occidental province's Kabankalan city. The cause of her death is yet to be determined. ''Lola Iska will always remain as our inspiration and pride,'' said Pedro Zayco, the city mayor. Notably, the Guinness World Record is still trying to validate her documents.
