He smashed the bowlers all around the park scoring 50 of just 17 deliveries, the fastest half-century by an English man. Also, he registered the fastest ton by scoring just 43 deliveries. Despite all his solo efforts, Pakistan was left undefeated and won the first game by 31 runs.
