UP CM Cancels Leave Of Police Personnel Till May 4
Uttar Pradesh Government canceled leave of all police personnel in the state till May 4. The decision was taken by CM Yogi Adityanath late on April 18, amid upcoming festivals in UP. Furthermore, police personnel on leave were also asked to join back within 24 hours. U'khand: Over 2000 Cops Test COVID '+ve' Despite Being Vaccinated
The Uttarakhand Police department suffered a jolt in the second wave of COVID-19 as 2,382 personnel have tested positive for the coronavirus in April-May 2021. Notably, 93% of those who tested positive were administered with both the doses of COVID-19 vaccine. While 2,204 have recovered, five officers have reportedly succumbed to the virus. As per a report, the deaths in Uttarakhand are twice the national average.

Telangana To Roll Point-Based Digital System To Punish Traffic Violators

Delhi ASI Suspended After a Accused Dies in Custody; Reason For Death is Yet To Conclude
Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Vijay Kumar has been suspended after a Delhi-resident died under Police custody on October 24.
