Pollution Deaths

A report by the India State-level Disease Burden Initiative revealed that more than 1.7 million people succumbed to air pollution in India in 2019. The report said these deaths accounted for around 18% of deaths in 2019 and inflicted around Rs 2.6 lakh crore to economy.
