Rameswaram-Dhanushkodi Rail Line To Be Restored Soon, Proposes Govt
The South Railways came up with a new proposal to restore the Rameswaram-Dhanushkodi rail line soon. Destroyed in 1964, the restoration of the line track connecting two destinations in Tamil Nadu will ease travel for people. An official said the new rail track will have an 18-km line, three stations, and one terminal station. Since the 1964 Tsunami, the Dhanushkodi station was out of service, which finally will be restored.
