Consider It Blessing, Says Dhangar Community Leader After Turmeric On Minister
After protesters demanding reservation for the Dhangar community smeared turmeric on revenue minister Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Gopichand Padalkar, a leader representing the Dhangar community in the BJP and member of the Maharashtra State Council, requested Minister Vikhe Patil to interpret their use of "Bhandara" (Turmeric Powder) as a positive gesture symbolising the blessing of Lord 'Khandoba,' whom the Dhangar community worships.

Karnataka Ministers To Donate One Year Salary For COVID Relief
Karnataka Revenue Minister R Ashoka on April 29 announced that all the ministers of the state have decided to donate their one year's salary to the COVID-19 relief works. The unanimous decision was taken following the recently announced lockdown in the state from April 27 to May 12. He also stated that about 230 acres of land have been reserved for cremation purposes.

K'taka Minister Claims 3,000 COVID Infected People Missing In B'luru
Karnataka Revenue Minister R Ashoka on April 28 claimed that about 3,000 COVID-19 infected people are missing in Bengaluru. He said that these people have switched off their cell phones by not revealing their whereabouts and spreading the disease. While the police are tracking them, he appealed them to switch on mobile phones. Ashoka urged them to reach out to avoid ending up at hospital ICU at the neck moment.
