26 Rohingya Refugees Including 12 Children Detained In Cachar: Assam
In Assam's Cachar, 26 Rohingya refugees have been detained by police, on May 29. Of which, 12 are reportedly children. Chachar district's Superintendent of Police (SP) Ramandeep Kaur said that the Rohingyas who were coming from Jammu, reached at Kamakhya railway station and travelled to Silchar by road. Reportedly, the Rohingyas are currently being interrogated and further details on the matter is awaited.

Twenty Four Rohingya Immigrants Held In Tripura
In Tripura's Unakoti district, the police detained 24 Rohingya immigrants, on May 3. As per sources, these refugees, including 10 children were on their way from Kumarghat to Kailashahar in three cars. SP Kishore Debbbarma said,"On suspicion, all the suspected Rohingya immigrants were detained and taken to Kailashahar police station for interrogation." 6 Rohingya Refugees Detained In Dharmanagar: Tripura
At Tripura's Dharmanagar railway station, six Rohingya immigrants have been detained, for traveling without valid documents, on April 28. The detained persons include three men, a woman and two children. While the woman possessed an identity card issued by the United Nations as a Rohingya refugee, others had no valid documents. The group was reportedly taken to Dharmanagar police station to ascertain their identities.

13 Illegal Rohingya Immigrants Apprehended In Jalpaiguri Railway Station: WB
Police have apprehended thirteen suspected illegal Rohingya immigrants from Jalpaiguri railway station in North Bengal, on April 24. The immigrants came to Jalpaiguri railway station in two groups- from New Delhi and Jammu, reported PTI. According to an official, the immigrants "were on the way to Rohingya camps in Bangladesh, via Assam and Tripura". Also, a case against the accused has been filed under The Foreigners Act.
