Days after exiting the TMC, rebel MLA Jitendra Tiwari on December 18 rejoined the party. Confirming the news, minister Aroop Biswas said, "Tiwari was in the party and will be in the party." Earlier, Tiwari had left the TMC citing he was "not allowed to work for the people." Meanwhile, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has accused the BJP leaders of coercing the TMC members to join the "saffron camp".
