COVID-19 Booster Shots Mandatory Saudi Arabia Citizens Traveling Abroad

The Saudi Arabia government has made booster doses mandatory for its citizens who want to travel abroad. "Starting February 9, Saudis will be required to be fully vaccinated," ministry stated. However, before entry into the kingdom, the visitors need to present a negative RT PCR. The kids under 16 years and some people in exempted category on the Tawakkalna app do not need a have a booster dose to travel.

Saudi Arabia's Tablighi Jamaat Ban Draws Criticism In India

All India Mualim Personal Law Board, on December 13, reacted to the Saudi Arabia's ban on Tablighi Jamaat.  Maulana Salman Hussain Nadwi called Saudi Arabia "puppet of Zionist power" and criticised them for the decision. Maulana said Saudi is now doing promotion of entertainment as "promotion of immortality and corruption". Another Islamic Scholar of Mumbai claimed Saudi Arabia to be "Slave of West".

Saudi Arabia Bans Tablighi Jammat; It's 'Gates Of Terrorism'

Saudi Arabia banned Tablighi Jamat calling it "One of the gates of terrorism". Dr Abdullatif Al Alsheikh, the Minister of Islamic Affairs, directed mosque preacher to inform people about the ban on next Friday prayer. Reportedly, the ban can be a major issue for Tablighi as maximum funds are raised from Saudi Arabia's charities. It is expected that following Saudi Arabia, other countries could also ban the group.

40 Camels Banned From Beauty Contest Over Rules' Violation: Saudi Arabia

In a beauty competition of camels, 40 camels were disqualified from this year's contest in Saudi Arabia, losing a chance to win the contest's $66M prize. The authorities took the action after finding the use of botox injections and other cosmetic injections on the camels. However, It's strictly prohibited. Reportedly, the judges and jurors decide the 'prettiest camel' based on its shape of head, neck, humps, and dress.

Reliance Shares Fall By 4.2% After Halting $15 Billion Aramco Deal

Reliance Industries' stock dropped 4.2 percent on November 22 after the company postponed a share sale to Saudi Arabia's Aramco. According to reports, the company planned to sell 20 percent of its share to the world's largest oil exporter for $15 billion. "Deal cancellation may not hurt the conglomerate's balance sheet but will lose a chance to set a benchmark of $75 billion valuations for the oil business", said analysts.

Online Application Process For Pilgrims Of Haj 2022 Begins

Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi announced that the online application process for Haj 2022 has been begun on November 1 in Mumbai. The entire Haj process for pilgrims will be digital and the last date of application is January 31, 2022. Naqvi also said the pilgrims can also buy bed sheets, pillows, towels, umbrellas, and other items in India. The items will be provided at the embarkation points.

Union Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbass Naqvi launched an online booking facility at the Haj House in Mumbai on October 9. Meanwhile, Naqvi said, ''The entire Haj 2022 process in India will be 100% digital.'' Saudi Arabia To Increase Crude Oil Production To Pre-Covid Levels

Following the Eighteen months since the pandemic, Saudi Arabia is now set to pump 9.8 million barrels a day that will almost be equal to the pre-Covid levels of production.
