New World Record: Egyptian Scuba Driver Stays Underwater for 145 Hrs and 30 Mins

Egyptian scuba diver Saddam Al-Kilany stayed submerged underwater for 145 hours and 30 minutes straight, in an attempt to create a new world record. While the videos have gone viral, the achievement is yet to be officially recognized by the Guinness World Records. The Egyptian broke his earlier best of 121 hours and surpassed Cern Karabay's world record of 142 hours and 47 minutes set in the year 2016.
