Sheena Bora Murder Case: Indrani Mukherjea's Ex-Husband Sanjeev Khanna Granted Bail

Sanjeev Khanna, ex-husband of Indrani Mukherjea has been granted bail by the apex court, in the Sheena Bora murder case. Indrani, the prime accused in the case, was granted bail last month, after spending six years in Byculla women's prison in Mumbai. Indrani allegedly killed her own daughter, by way of strangulation, in 2012. After her driver confessed to the crime in 2015, she was taken into custody.

CBI Files Reply In Sheena Bora Murder Case, Matter Adjourned To March 3

The CBI filed reply before Special CBI Court in 2015 Sheena Bora Murder Case, on February 18. The Sheena Bora muder case's prime accused Indrani Mukherjee, recently claimed that Sheena was spotted in Kashmir, is alive and wrote from Byculla jail with inputs from her inmate. Mukherjee requested CBI to investigate the matter. With this, the CBI filed their reply before the court, which adjourned the matter to March 3.

Indrani Mukerjee, 39 Other Inmates At Mumbai's Byculla Jail Test COVID+

Indrani Mukerjea, the accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, and 39 other inmates at the Byculla prison in South Mumbai have tested positive for coronavirus. Precautionary, all infected inmates have been transferred to a quarantine center of Byculla on April 21. Notably, most of the inmates are asymptomatic and were detected in tests conducted after a woman prisoner attracted COVID-19. Mukherjee is jailed since August 2015.
