Delhi Woman Shot Dead By 2 Unidentified Men; Case Registered

In Delhi's Paschim Vihar, a 32-year-old woman named Jyoti was shot dead. According to sources, Jyoti, who worked in the courier team at Flipkart was returning home at 7:30 pm, when two unidentified motorists shot her, said Jyoti's husband. Upon information, the Delhi Police team led by DCP Harendra Singh rushed to the spot and launched an investigation, after collecting the CCTV footage of the area.

MEA Expresses Shock Over Indian-Origin Sikh Family Murder In California

Days after four members of an Indian-origin Sikh family were found dead in California, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs described it as "shocking". On October 7, the Union Ministry said its mission in San Francisco is following up on the matter with local authorities. "Local police authorities are actively probing the matter. Our mission in San Francisco is following up on it," said MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi.

Body Of Woman Killed Over Illicit Relationship Recovered After 6 Months In Sambhal: Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal, the body of a woman killed over suspicion of illicit relationship has been recovered after six months. The body was reportedly recovered from the courtyard behind the accused’s house. Following which, the body has been sent for a DNA test. Reportedly, the woman was killed by some family members over an illicit relationship. The deceased’s husband and another family member have been arrested.

The girl's family has alleged that she was raped and murdered, which has now taken a political turn. The Jammu & Kashmir Police recovered a personal diary of domestic helper, who is alleged of the murder of Director General of Prison (DGP) Hemant Lohia. As per police, the suspected murderer Yasir Ahmed (23) was said to be depressed mind fixated on death. His diary is filled of notes, songs and quotes, indicating his depressed mind with an intent of death. A case has been registered and investigation underway.

2 Accused Allegedly Killed 6-Year-Old Pretext Of 'Sacrifice To God': Delhi

In the name of "Sacrifice of God", two men allegedly killed a six-year-old boy in Lodhi Colony of Delhi, confirmed the police. Two accused, who are under police custody, Aman Kumar & Vijay Kumar, natives of Uttar Pradesh, slit the throat of the six-year-old in an under-construction building site. The victim was known to the accused and the crime was committed under influence of drugs, said police, who launched an investigation.

Chinese National Killed In Pakistan’s Karachi

In Pakistan’s southern port city of Karachi, a Chinese-Pakistani dual national was killed, informed police on September 29. Reportedly, the attacker was disguised as a dental patient at a clinic.
