Govt Releases Ease Of Living Index; Bengaluru Tops Chart
In the government's recently released Ease of Living Index 2020 (EoLI), Bengaluru has been crowned as the best city in the million-plus population category, followed by Pune and Ahmedabad. Shimla: Fire Breaks Out In Hotel, Damages Property
In the late hours of October 28, Shimla's 'Hotel Capital' witnessed a huge fire in three rooms. Reportedly, the firefighters rushed to the spot with five firefighting vehicles. The operation, which was performed by over 40 personnel, was successful in extinguishing the fire. However, no casualties have been reported as of now but the fire is said to have caused a loss of Rs two lakh.
