IPL: Tournament Opener Creates Record in Viewership
The Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) India has released the viewership statistics for September 19-25, revealing that the first match of IPL 13, between Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings, created a record in viewership. IPL 2020: Commentators Get Personal Microphones To Avoid COVID Spread
The COVID-19 precautionary measures in the ongoing IPL season have extended to not just the players, but commentators as well. The regional language commentators of Star Sports, who telecast live from Mumbai are also under BCCI's strict safety protocols.
