SpaceX's Starship Launch Aborted At Last Second Citing Engine Failure
The latest 'Starship' mission by SpaceX was aborted with just 1.3 seconds remaining for the launch at Boca Chica, Texas, on December 8. The launch, which would have been the first high-altitude launch of 12.5 kilometres, was aborted due to an automatic-engine failure. Moreover, the cancelled model was the first to feature three raptor engines. SpaceX had earlier conducted five Starship launches, which were not higher than 150 metres.
