SSR Case: Advocate Arrested For Spreading Fake Content On Social Media

Advocate Vibhor Anand, accused of spreading conspiracy theories related to Sushant Singh Rajput and Disha Salian's death, has been arrested by the Mumbai Police. The arrest happened after actor Arbaaz Khan lodged a complaint against Vibhor for taking his name in the case. Reportedly, Vibhor was brought to Mumbai on October 15 from his house in Delhi, and will remain in police custody till October 19.

Bollywood Giants File Case Against Media Persons Over "Derogatory" Remarks

Several Bollywood production houses filed lawsuit in the Delhi High Court on October 12 against Republic TV's Arnab Goswami, Times Now's Rahul Shivshankar and two others. Aaj Tak Penalised For Airing Misleading Tweets In Sushant's Case

Citing the telecast of fake tweets, News Broadcasting Standards Authority (NBSA) has imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on news channel 'Aaj Tak'. Reportedly, the news channel had aired some tweets that were wrongly attributed to late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. It also directed the channel to air an apology, and ordered to remove videos of the same if telecasted on any digital media platforms.

Rhea Chakraborty, Samuel Miranda Get Bail; Showik To Remain Under Custody

Actress Rhea Chakraborty, who was arrested by the NCB, received bail with conditions on October 7 from the Bombay High Court. However, the court denied bail to Rhea's brother Showik Chakraborty. Reportedly, Rhea has been asked to mark her presence daily at a police station for ten days. She is barred from travelling abroad as well. The court also granted bail to Sushant's manager Samuel Miranda and staff Dipesh Samant.
