Rupa Gurunath Steps Down As Tamil Nadu Cricket Association President

Rupa Gurunath, the President of the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA), stepped down from the post, on December 31. "It has been my pleasure and true honour to have served as President of one of the most prestigious cricket association of the Country," said Gurunath, the daughter of former BCCI President N Srinivasan. Notably, Rupa Gurunath was elected as TNCA President in 2019.

BCCI Permits TNCA To Host Second Test Match With 50% Crowd

BCCI has permitted Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) to conduct India's first international match since the pandemic with 50% crowd capacity. Reportedly, the TNCA would host the first two Tests between India and England scheduled for February 5 and 13 following all protocols laid down by the government. While the club members and media were allowed for the first Test, the approval would allow fans for the second test.
