Global Car Sales To Be 75% Electric By 2040, Says Report

Electric vehicle (EV) adoption is increasing due to improvements in battery density and cost, more charging points, and government policies that are making people shift towards electric cars. According to a report, passenger EV sales are expected to skyrocket to 66 million in 2040 from 3 million in 2020. Europe and China will see major produce of EVs. Road transition is very crucial to meet the net-zero-emission target.
