White House Staff Member Tests Covid-19 Positive, Contacted President Biden

A White House employee who contacted President Joe Biden on December 17, tested positive for COVID-19. He had spent 30 minutes in proximity to the President on Air Force One, cofirmed the White House spokesperson Jen Psaki, on December 20. "This morning, after being notified of the staffer's positive test, the President received a PCR test and tested negative," she said. Meanwhile, President will continue with his daily schedule.

The US Senate on December 2, passed a stopgap spending bill to fund the federal government through mid-February, that will avoid a short-term shutdown. The Senate then cleared the bill on a 69-28 vote, according to Sputnik news agency. Now the bill has been sent to White House for the signature of President Joe Biden. US Senators Urge Biden Not To Use CAATSA Over India-Russia Missile Deal

U.S Senators have urged President Joe Biden, not to impose provisions of the punitive Countering America's Adversaries Through Sections Act (CAATSA) against India for buying the 'S 400' surface-to-air missile system from Russia.
