Why Don't You Go To Pakistan, Says Delhi Teacher To Muslim Student

In a shocking incident from a government school in Delhi, four students have accused their teacher of making communal remarks. The students alleged that their teacher asked them why their families did not go to Pakistan during the Partition. As per the media reports, the Delhi Police have registered a case against Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya's teacher Hema Gulati. This is the second such target attack against Muslim student.

Ed-Tech company Unacademy has fired its teacher whose video had gone viral in which he could be heard asking students to vote for a literate person in the upcoming elections. The update was shared by X user Shantanu on the micro blogging site, saying, "This teacher urged his students to vote for an educated leader, he didn’t take anyone’s name. BJP pressurised Unacademy. Now he has lost his job."

Massive Protest Breaks Out Amid Death Of 15-Year-Old Dalit Teen In UP

A violent protest broke out in Uttar Pradesh after a 15-year-old Dalit teen died after his teacher beat him brutally. The matter escalated as the accused teacher Ashwini Singh was from the upper caste and thrashed the boy Nikhit Dohre, to death, only because of a spelling error, at school. The villagers and family demanded arrest of the teacher, who is currently on run. Moreover, a FIR has been registered.

Maharashtra Teacher Charged For Dismissing Class 10 Student

A private school teacher charged for caning a Class 10 pupil and breaking his hand in Maharashtra's Thane. Police launched a case on August 27 under section 325 (voluntarily causing severe harm) of IPC, based on a complaint filed by the wounded student's parents. The 15-year-old youngster had a disagreement with a classmate, who complained to the instructor. The accused then caned the victim, causing his wrist to swell.

School Teacher Arrives Drunk In Classroom, Suspended: Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh's Jashpur, a school teacher named Dinesh Kumar Lakhsme has been suspended after he reached classroom in a drunken state. Furthermore, he even beaten a student with a cricket bat, following which the district collector issued his suspension order and launched investigation, on March 12. "A school teacher in Jashpur on March 10 arrived in the school premises and beat students with a cricket bat," stated the collector.

A commerce teacher at a government school was arrested for sexually harassing girl students, in Madurai. The accused is identified as, Jayaraman, who spoke and acted inappropriately towards female students at the school. In addition, the parents of the students raised a complaint. Based on the complaint, the Police conducted an investigation and arrested Selvaraj under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
