Russia's Putin Briefs PM Modi Regarding Wagner Protest, India Assures Support
Russian President Vladimir Putin briefed Indian PM Narendra Modi about the Wagner revolt in Russia. On June 30, Putin updated about the Wagner protest and Ukraine situation, following which PM Modi-led Indian Government assured all kinds of support to protect law & order in India. In addition, during the call, Narendra Modi also informed Putin about his recent visit to the United States and meeting US President Joe Biden.

Russian President Puts US Under Scanner In Wagner Revolt
Russia is investigating the role of Western intelligence agencies in the Wagner mutiny that erupted before ending abruptly on June 24. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov addressed the media and said, that the investigation was underway since Belarus struck a peace deal with Wagner PMC chief Yevgeny Prigozhin. This comes despite President Joe Biden reiterating that the U.S. and the allies had no role in the coup bid.
