Meet Inshah Bashir, J&K's 1st Wheelchair Basketball Player
Inshah Bashir, a native of Jammu & Kashmir is firs wheel-chair basketball player from the Union Terrortiry. 27-year-old Bashir started first wheelchair women's basketball team in 2017. She represented India in the US Sports Programme in 2019 and given TED talk, inspiring differently abled people, interested in sports. Notably, Bashir is on wheelchair since she was 15-year-old, due to a spinal injury in an accident.

All About World's 1st Drive-From-Wheelchair Electric Vehicle 'Kenguru'
Hungarian carmaker 'Kenguru' has become the world's first Electric Vehicle (EV) designed exclusively for wheelchair users. The environment friendly vehicle gives access via the rear opening tailgate and the steering is like the motorbike-style handlebar. The wheelchair can be secured within the car by an interlocking device. Being light in weight, Kenguru is classified as a scooter and the driver does not require any license to drive.
