WHO: Monkeypox Infection May Be Harmful To Foetus, Infants & Mother
While the effects of monkeypox infection during pregnancy are unknown, research shows that infection may have negative consequences for the foetus or newborn infant as well as the mother, according to the World Health Organization. There is a hazard to health professionals if they come into contact with a patient while not wearing adequate personal protective equipment (PPE) to avoid spreading.

Jharkhand To Receive WHO's No Tobacco Award 22 In Delhi
Jharkhand has been named for the World Health Organization (WHO)'s World No Tobacco Day (WNTD) Award-2022 Award. The Monkeypox virus has spread to at least 19 countries, and over 237 cases have been confirmed, as of May 27. According to WHO, the virus can be 'contained' in non-African countries. Over 80 cases of Monkeypox virus have been confirmed by the World Health Organization (WHO) across 11 countries, as of May 21.
