Centre Releases Rs 1,625 Crore Support Funds To Women Entrepreneurs
PM Modi has released Rs.1,625 crore to four lakh self-help groups (SHG). He also interacted with women in SHGs virtually in "Atmanirbhar Narishakti se Samvad" and appreciated them for their services during the pandemic. Under the Prime Minister Formalisation of the Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme of the Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Rs 25 crore was also released as startup funds for 7,500 SHG workers.

Maharashtra To Encourage Women Entrepreneurs Via Special Cell
The Maharashtra government announced to set up women entrepreneurship cell in the state to motivate women in start-ups and entrepreneurship sector on January 5.
