Gangster Atiq Ahmed's Benami Property, Purchased In Name Of Mason Attached
Slain gangster-politician Atiq Ahmed's Benami Property, worth Rs 12.5 crore was attached by the Uttar Pradesh Police in Prayagraj's Katahula area on Monday. The confiscated land was spread across 5.0510 hectares, and was purchased and registered in a mason's name, Hoob Lal. His men forcibly scared poor farmers and registered their lands in Hoob Lal's name, the mason confirmed to police. Notably, Atiq took 14 farmer's land.

Punjab Govt Approves Mukhya Mantri Tirath Yatra Scheme
The Punjab Cabinet led by chief minister Bhagwant Mann gave approval to start the Mukhya Mantri Tirath Yatra Darshan scheme (CM pilgrimage scheme) to enable the people of the state to visit various pilgrimage sites across the country free of cost from the upcoming 'parkash purab' of Sri Guru Nanak Dev on November 27. The Cabinet also gave its nod to introduce the Punjab OTS scheme for settlement of pre-GST.

Kanpur Brings Artificial Rain To Combat Hazards Of Pollution
In an effort to combat the hazards of pollution amid stubble burning, Uttar Pradesh's Kanpur city is expected to have artificial rainfall this week. the Indian Institute of Technology-Kanpur (IIT-K) is on the brink of deploying an innovative solution – creating artificial rain, by dispersing a blend of salts into clouds. However, according to the institute’s analysis, the implementation of this rain-inducing procedure is unlikely to occur within this week.

Chhattisgarh Contest For 20 Assembly Seats In Phase I
Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023 first phase started on November 7. The elections will be held for 20 Assembly seats, and approximately 232 leaders belonging to political parties are in the fray. Bombay HC Cracks Down On Mumbai Air Pollution
Cracking down on the rising air pollution in Mumbai, the Bombay high court has imposed a comprehensive ban on the transportation of construction debris to and from construction sites. In a bid to curtail particulate matter and dust emissions, all construction materials must now be transported in fully covered trucks or mixer plants, ensuring that the transportation process is environmentally responsible. The HC also banned all construction activities amid Diwali.

Tremors Of Earthquake Felt In Delhi NCR, Gurgaon & Faridabad
Another earthquake of magnitude 5.6 on the Richter scale hit Nepal on November 6, evening as the Himalayan nation recovers from the deadly earthquake, which killed over 155 people. This is the third earthquake that has struck Nepal in the last four days. Tremors were also felt in parts of north India, including the Delhi-NCR region. Monday's earthquake hit at a depth of 10km, said reports.

Nepal Hit By Another Earthquake After Recent 6.2 Magnitude One
Nepal was hit by a 5.6-magnitude earthquake on November 6, days after 157 people were killed and dozens injured when a strong quake struck the Himalayan country. The tremors were felt in neighboring India. The first earthquake this week occurred with a magnitude of 6.4, Nepal's National Seismological Centre said. The German Research Centre for Geosciences measured the quake at 5.7, downgrading it from 6.2.
