Chhattisgarh: Five Naxals Carrying Bounty Killed By Their Own Members
Over the last two weeks, five Naxalites in Chhattisgarh's Bijapur district were killed by their own colleagues. The police stated that the Naxals had a bounty of Rs 1-3 lakh on their heads. Reportedly, the killing took place due to the internal disputes in CPI(Maoist) regarding the recent murders of civilians by the Naxals in South Bastar. In September, the Naxal leader Modiyam Vijja was shot dead by his subordinates.
