Haryana's Ambala Registers Worst Air Quality In India
Haryana’s Ambala registered the most toxic air quality in India on November 4, amid the stubble-burning season. The Air Quality Index in Ambala was recorded at 452, followed by Moradabad (425) and Baghpat (420). According to Central Pollution Control Board, seven of top 10 polluted cities were from UP and three from Haryana. While the stubble-burning share was negligible at 5%, Earth Science ministry warned of its increase due to shift in wind direction.
