79% Users Reconsidering To Use WhatsApp; Telegram, Signal Gain
Gurugram-based Cyber Media Research's nationwide survey has highlighted that over 79% of Indian users are reconsidering using WhatsApp after its much-debated privacy policy update. Moreover, around 28% of the people surveyed even prefer to leave WhatsApp after the update's implementation in May. While 41% of the people plan to shift on Telegram, 35% preferred to switch to Signal app. The survey under 'Social Safe study' sampled 1,500 people from eight Indian cities.
