Bengal: TMC Creates Dedicated SC, ST And OBC Cells Ahead Of Polls

On the lines of the BJP, West Bengal's ruling TMC has also created dedicated cells for Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and OBC communities ahead of the assembly elections. The TMC will also nominated "active and aware" leaders to raise the demand of the communities and redress their grievances as well. Reportedly, the TMC lost 12 seats in the 2019 General Elections, while the BJP gained 16 seats due to its growing support from the communities.
